A key member of the North American 29 line-up, this is an excellent opportunity to connect with much-desired trophy Mountain Lions weighing in at an impressive 160+ lbs.! They grow big in the enchanted Okanagan valley, which is known for both its incredible beauty, staggering biodiversity, and plentiful, big Mountain Lions! Under the critical eyes of experienced houndsmen and train packs of lion hounds, these hunts come standard at 6 full days and are professionally 1x2+ guided, meaning 2 or more hard working guides per hunter, fetching maximum results and the best overall experience.

Cat seasons open in mid-November, (which is a perfect time to combine a special 10-day, late-season Shiras Moose-lion combo), and only close the last day of February. Provided there is snow on the ground, along with frequent fresh dustings, Lion hunting is good all winter long! But there is more. Consider a 3-cat slam!

In addition, Canadian Lynx and Bobcat hunts with hounds can be added to any Mountain Lion package, as well as bonus opportunities at any Wolves encountered along the way. Specialized 5-day Lynx packages are also offered and are highly successful.  Rifle or archery hunters are both welcome, as are non-hunting observers.

With beautiful Kelowna or Penticton BC as the destination cities, there is much to see and do before or after the hunt if desired. Dubbed “Napa Valley North” the Okanagan Valley is home to many wine vineyards and orchards. These cities have a thriving dining and restaurant scene, in addition to great nightlife, entertainment and eco-tourism – all within close proximity to excellent hunting!
