Manitoba is an undisputed top Black Bear destination, consistently producing massive Bears with excellent action and encounter opportunities. A great outfitter operating in one of the provinces best areas gives our hunters a serious edge. These are baited hunts yielding excellent success rates, but also allows hunters to be very selective and deliver the best and most ethical shots. Our bear/bird combo hunts are also essentially 2 hunts in 1!

Incredible effort goes into pre-season preparations, scouting huge swaths of land, trail cutting, stand tweaking, baiting and camera checks. As a testament, many hunters are repeat clients, successfully retuning season after season. Bear populations are very healthy and some days on stand can see up to 10-15 different bears. With a reputation for really big bears, fallback on your judging principals as B&C record quality animals visit these stands during daylight hours! All efforts made to strategically position hunters on the most active, pre-scouted stands where trophy class boars are frequenting.

Offering hunts in both spring and fall is unique, allowing annual tag quotas to be spread out, so camp is never crowded and often exclusive per party.  The classic spring rut hunts are hard to beat and produce huge bears each year. With an absence of blueberries, once the grain fields are cut makes for incredible fall hunting. Cooler weather, no bugs, fall colors, fat bears and lush winter coats, coupled with Upland bird and Waterfowl combos are serious perks.

Stay in a comfortable rural lodge home with catered meals and private rooms, comfortably accommodating 5-6 hunters, with non-hunters are welcome. Start to finish, this package is tailored to be fun and hassle-free upon arrival in Winnipeg. Hard working guides combined with the natural resources that bless this region make it an adventure to remember.
