Introduced from India to the island of Molokai in 1868, these unique and off-season trophy Axis deer hunting excursions only compliment a Hawaiian vacation! Available on both the islands of Maui and Molokai, these free-range hunts are technically open year-round, with the prime rut occurring in late spring and summer (April through July). Axis deer are thriving and very abundant in Hawaii, with essentially 100% shot opportunities, at what many consider to be the world’s finest venison.

In addition to Axis deer, Feral/Spanish Goats and Polynesian Wild Boar are also plentiful and make for popular add-on hunt options. Hunting seasons and opportunities for these species are also open year-round. Most hunters choose to fly home with their meat and trophies as checked luggage for added value and convenience!

Big game fishing charters are another great option, with species like Blue or Striped Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo and Mahi. Full and half-day charters on 40–50-foot vessels are available from late winter to early fall, and can accommodate or be split by a group of up to 6 anglers. A Hawaiian classic, and home to some of the world’s biggest record class Marlin!

Let’s not forget the destination itself, which alone is worth the trip. These enchanted volcanic islands are not only beautiful and bristling with incredible things to see and do, but the logistics are also quick and easy from North America. Maui is a gem of the Pacific, and many regard Molokai as “old Hawaii”. Each island offers its own history, culture and exciting list of activities, wonderful restaurants, and breathtaking views. Enjoy snorkeling, spearfishing, scuba diving, surfing, hiking and more. Or choose to simply relax on the beach, doing nothing aside from listening to the waves.
